Those of you who have sent in your site information thank you very much. If you sent me your site information and you have not received the subscription message sent to your Site Contact email address yet please: 1) If you filter email based on checksums (DCC) please check the place your spam goes, the subscription notice is a form letter so it might have wound up there 2) If you still can't find it let me know please, I might have done something wrong. If you are an official mirror site and haven't sent the info yet, please at least send me enough to get you added to the mirror-announce list (site contact info). Or you can send me everything, here it is one more time. I have had some cvsup and www mirror sites reply. I know the "Access Methods" and "Sync Mechanism" are meaningless for those sites but if other cvsup/www mirror sites are out there and want to send me your information that's fine. This time around I started off just thinking about the ftp mirror sites but collecting the info for the cvsup/www sites was going to be a future project. :-) Thanks. > FreeBSD name: > Real site name: > Site Maintainer(s): ["From:" mail header for who would send us email] > Site Contact(s): [Who we should send email to] > Content: [ISO's/release files/packages] > Access Methods: [FTP/rsync/cvsup/http (allowed to public users)] > Upstream Host: [where you sync from] > Sync Mechanism: [how you download - cvsup/rsync/omi/mirror/etc] > > Note: "Maintainer" email is who we should believe if a request is > sent to us asking for a change in your site's information, it > should be a real person's email as we would see in the > "From:" email header line. > > "Contact" email is where we should send announcements about releases > being staged and/or contact if a problem is reported about your > site. Those of you who have It would be great to announce on a public list if you want more than just FTP sites. It's absolutely not clear from your announcements to hubs@. Really - without your mail to developers@ I would have never contacted you about this, because you've stated FTP mirrors in the first mail to hubs@. > sent in your site information thank you very much. If you sent > me your site information and you have not received the subscription > message sent to your Site Contact email address yet please: Not here yet. I've send you the the contact form and the contact mail adress is listed in the cvsup chapter. > 1) If you filter email based on checksums (DCC) please check > the place your spam goes, the subscription notice is a form > letter so it might have wound up there If it got filtered then you should have received a bounce because you've tryed to send using a bogus mailserver. If this is the case then contact me via ticso@freebsd.org. > 2) If you still can't find it let me know please, I might > have done something wrong.
