FreeBSD titan.klemm.apsfilter.org 5.1-CURRENT FreeBSD 5.1-CURRENT #0: Fri Sep 26 07:19:57 CEST 2003 root@titan.klemm.apsfilter.org:/usr/src/sys/i386/compile/TITAN i386 The camera will be detected on startup of FreeBSD: ugen1: Canon Inc. Canon Digital Camera, rev 1.10/0.01, addr 2 The Canon is recognized correctly from within the application. Digikam software autodetects usb port and Camera Model without problems. But it can't access the pictures in the camera. Do you have any idea, if this is more a FreeBSD or more an application problem ? I'm not sure where the gp_port_read function belongs to. It doesn't appear neither in FreeBSD OS sources nor in digikam sources... When I startup digikam in the Shell-Konsole window I get this output from the application: root@titan[ttyp2]{202} ~ digikam _KDE_IceTransmkdir: Owner of /tmp/.ICE-unix should be set to root kbuildsycoca running... gp_port_read: Operation timed out gp_port_read: Operation timed out WARNING: KDE detected X Error: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) \x08 Major opcode: * WARNING: KDE detected X Error: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) \x08 Major opcode: * WARNING: KDE detected X Error: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) \x08 Major opcode: * No syslog/kernel output in the xconsole window.
