In case you install libmpeg3 on your system you can add CONFIGURE_ARGS+= --with-libmpeg3 to your multimedia/transcode/Makefile in order to enable libmpeg3 support. > I look and searched under ports, but did not find it? I've just downloaded the sources and it seems like it needs some patching to allow compilation on FreeBSD. Why exactly do you need libmpeg3 for transcode? Is there a certain task? That means that running make with no switches will give you php(1) with bcmath, ctype, ftp, mime-magic, overload, pcre, posix functions, sockets interface, tokenizer, and xml, and although every single part of that can be disabled by WITHOUT_FOO, I'm not sure I like this. What is the recommended way? .if defined(PACKAGE_BUILDING) DEFAULTS= ${WITH} ${ENABLE} mysql40 ncurses-base readline .else DEFAULTS= bcmath ctype ftp mime-magic mysql overload pcre-regex posix \ sockets tokenizer xml .endif WITH= dbase gmp hyperwave xmlrpc zlib ENABLE= bcmath calendar ctype dba dbx filepro ftp mbregex mbstring \ mime-magic overload pcntl pcre-regex posix shmop sockets \ sysvsem sysvshm tokenizer wddx yp xml .for v in ${DEFAULTS} . if !defined(WITHOUT_${v:U:S,-,_,g}) WITH_${v:U:S,-,_,g}=yes . endif .endfor .for g in WITH ENABLE . for v in ${${g}} . if defined(WITH_${v:U:S,-,_,g}) CONFIGURE_ARGS+=--${g:L}-${v} . endif . endfor .endfor -- If you cc me or remove the list(s) completely I'll most likely ignore your message. see http://www.eyrie.org./~eagle/faqs/questions.html From owner-freebsd-ports@FreeBSD.ORG Sun Apr 27 07:17:36 2003 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-ports@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id E4C9D37B401 for ; Sun, 27 Apr 2003 07:17:36 -0700 (PDT) Received: from void.xpert.com (ftp.xpert.com [199.203.132.1]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4441343FB1 for ; Sun, 27 Apr 2003 07:17:36 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from Yonatan@xpert.com) Received: from exchange.xpert.com ([199.203.132.135]) by void.xpert.com with esmtp (Exim 3.22 #1) id 199msD-0001U2-00 for ports@freebsd.org; Sun, 27 Apr 2003 17:11:21 +0300 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft Exchange V6.0.6375.0 content-class: urn:content-classes:message MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="windows-1255" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Date: Sun, 27 Apr 2003 17:13:09 +0300 Message-ID: X-MS-Has-Attach: X-MS-TNEF-Correlator: Thread-Topic: "unknown user root"? Please CC me on any replys. I don't subscribe to ports. TIA. libfpx is being pulled in as a dependency. Make is looking for libfpx-1.2.0.7.tar.bz2. Make says it cannot locate the distfile on any of the ftp servers listed. My distfiles has libfpx-1.2.0.4.tar.gz as does a spot check of ftp2.freebsd.org. My Makefile indicates version 1/2/0/7. I also noted the compression suffix is different but I cannot find it either way. My cvsup of ports-all is from this morning (4/27). Any suggestions? Thanks... As root, I go to /usr/ports/sysutils/portupgrade and run make install distclean The system seems to obtain the pkgtools and some upgrades to it, but is unable to obtain the required bdb1-0.1.8.tar.gz. I have also looked at the collection at the freebsd site and tried the ftp site myself () and also cannot get in for some unknown reason. Is there any way to obtain this required file? I also sent this message to knu@freebsd.org who is the maintainer and hopefully this list or he will answer. Thanks... __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! How can I avoid it? I cvsupped this morning (in Japan) and did 'make world'. $ uname -v FreeBSD 5.0-CURRENT #89: Mon Apr 28 11:16:29 JST 2003 root@boggy.acest.tutrp.tut.ac.jp:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/NAKAJI "portupgrade" always fails because of "out of swap space" as discussed in the beginning of April. I have same problem now. When I just typed "make install clean" in /usr/ports/sysutils/portupgrade, it causes "out of swap space" while "Registering ...". :( Another example, ports/multimedia/mplayer-skins also gets "out of swap space". And sort, XFree86, mozilla-bin, emacs, ntop and so on are all killed because of "out of swap space". I have 2180M swap (on HDD), but it does not help. With P4 1400MHz, 2180M swap will be filled up in less than one minute. Is this problem NOT fixed yet? -- NAKAJI Hiroyuki From owner-freebsd-ports@FreeBSD.ORG Mon Apr 28 01:27:14 2003 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-ports@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id C142237B401 for ; Mon, 28 Apr 2003 01:27:14 -0700 (PDT) Received: from httpd1.terions.de (static62-99-146-055.adsl.inode.at [62.99.146.55]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with SMTP id 971CC43FCB for ; Mon, 28 Apr 2003 01:26:58 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from martin.klaffenboeck@gmx.at) Received: (qmail 12187 invoked from network); 28 Apr 2003 08:26:57 -0000 Received: from unknown (HELO martin.kleinerdrache.org) (127.0.0.1) by loopback with SMTP; 28 Apr 2003 08:26:57 -0000 Date: Mon, 28 Apr 2003 10:26:55 +0200 From: Martin Klaffenboeck To: dirk@freebsd.org, ports freebsd group Message-ID: <20030428082655.GA534@martin.kleinerdrache.org> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="/04w6evG8XlLl3ft" Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit X-Mailer: Balsa 2.0.10 Lines: 863 Subject: mod_php4 fails.
