How do I get this into the machine? 'make release' doesn't work for PPC yet, so it's not really possible to build an ISO without a lot of manual effort. That being said, it's all moot if the loader doesn't work. What I'd suggest is trying to boot the FreeBSD loader from the IBM's open firmware prompt. The loader is the same as for PowerMacs. At least, it's documented that way in the manual. So creating an cd-image for PowerMac should work with the 43p machines (and above). In that case, you could burn a ISO CD with just the FreeBSD loader and kernel and see if they can boot. The loader may, and I'm quite sure the kernel will bomb out early, but it would at least be a start. later, Peter.
