The i386 and alpha distributions are available now, and pc98 and sparc64 will be available shortly. This is scheduled to be the last BETA before we branch the tree and go into the RC phase next week, so please test this as much as possible! As always, the list of known problems that need to be fixed at http://www.freebsd.org/releases/5.1R/todo.html. Thanks! Only after I've changed bios setup to boot on cdrom and boot normaly! I can try boot on FreeBSD installed on hard disk without problem until I come back to use Window$ XP. All was working fine with FreeBSD 4.8-RELEASE. Thanks, Paulo. What happens if you cold boot? windows could be whacking out the agp hardware and the reset isn't resetting it fully. The chipset drivers on some systems are, shall we say, unconventional. -- Doug White | FreeBSD: The Power to Serve dwhite@gumbysoft.com | www.FreeBSD.org From owner-freebsd-qa@FreeBSD.ORG Fri May 23 18:22:56 2003 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-qa@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 5641737B401 for ; Fri, 23 May 2003 18:22:56 -0700 (PDT) Received: from mirage.nlink.com.br (mirage.nlink.com.br [200.249.195.3]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with SMTP id 675B143FB1 for ; Fri, 23 May 2003 18:22:54 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from paulo@nlink.com.br) Received: (qmail 1121 invoked by uid 85); 24 May 2003 01:22:51 -0000 Received: from paulo@nlink.com.br by mirage.nlink.com.br by uid 82 with qmail-scanner-1.16 (clamscan: 0.54. spamassassin: 2.55. I'll try to update bios but using FreeBSD 4.8 all was working fine. Paulo.
