I know this may come as a surprise to you but I believe that God can bring people together for one purpose. I was going through our company fills and I found a fill which belongs to the former head of state Mr. Charles Tarloy which he used in lodging a trunk box which contains money. I was able to know the content of the consignment from one his aid. This we decided to look for somebody who will help us claim the consignment. The company I work for deliver such consignment to the persons country/home. I promise if you can help, I will provide you with the necessary document that will help in claiming the consignment from my company. I promise to reward you handsomely if you help me in this situation. I am very poor and believe that God has answered my prayers. Kindly contact me on my email. Aboeteh2004@yahoo.com. Can I use rl(4) ethernet device on this system, though it is not recognized by SRM Console? 2. Is there ANY recommended ATA or ATA-RAID Controller I can use on this system? I already read http://www.freebsd.org/releases/5.2R/hardware-alpha.html. But I'm not sure that the devices in the list are supported on my system(AS1200). Sorry for my rough English. The list of PCI raid cards supported by SRM is rather limited, and system dependent too :/ AS1200 is not overly recent so it is probably limited to Mylex DAC960 (DEC KZPSC) which by now are quite outdated. -- Wilko Bulte wilko@FreeBSD.org From owner-freebsd-alpha@FreeBSD.ORG Fri Jan 23 15:17:20 2004 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-alpha@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 0214416A4CE; I had been running VMS on it without any troubles, until a disk started giving me errors. After replacing the disk, I decided to give 5.2 a go, thinking maybe some of the problems of last year may have been resolved. No such luck. As you can see below, it's doing the machine check at almost the same point as last year. In combing the archives, it seems that there were problems with some cards, so I yanked out all the pci cards (there were no EISA cards), still a machine check. This machine booted and ran stable under 4-xx with a uniprocessor kernel It seems you may have to disable the machine checks in order to get this beast to boot, any pointers on where to start? I'd like to play with it with FBSD before going back to VMS. Below is the console firmware pre-boot diag and then the actual boot -v output and then the show config and show fru.
