I would like to commit update to emulators/vmware2 port. Patch based on PR 68202 and patch from Stephan Fiebrandt, I'm only made the full-patch. Test under RELENG_5 (5.3-BETA7) passed by Dmitry Demin (aka old). Please test changes under RELENG_4, because I haven't test machine with resent 4.x version. Full patch available at http://people.freebsd.org/~osa/patch-vmware2 Also please keep CC, because I'm not subscriber of this list. Thanks. -- ozz From owner-freebsd-emulation@FreeBSD.ORG Wed Oct 27 15:09:58 2004 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-emulation@hub.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 9FDC516A4CE; Wed, 27 Oct 2004 15:09:58 +0000 (GMT) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [216.136.204.21]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 7E6B343D5C; Wed, 27 Oct 2004 15:09:58 +0000 (GMT) (envelope-from vs@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (vs@localhost [127.0.0.1]) i9RF9w0B070110; Wed, 27 Oct 2004 15:09:58 GMT (envelope-from vs@freefall.freebsd.org) Received: (from vs@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.12.11/8.12.11/Submit) id i9RF9wBT070106; Wed, 27 Oct 2004 15:09:58 GMT (envelope-from vs) Date: Wed, 27 Oct 2004 15:09:58 GMT From: Volker Stolz Message-Id: <200410271509.i9RF9wBT070106@freefall.freebsd.org> To: vs@FreeBSD.org, freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org, freebsd-emulation@FreeBSD.org Subject: Re: ports/72865: emulators/vmware3 crashes on 5.3-STABLE X-BeenThere: freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.1 Precedence: list List-Id: Development of Emulators of other operating systems List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Wed, 27 Oct 2004 15:09:58 -0000 Synopsis: emulators/vmware3 crashes on 5.3-STABLE Responsible-Changed-From-To: freebsd-ports-bugs->freebsd-emulation Responsible-Changed-By: vs Responsible-Changed-When: Wed Oct 27 15:08:49 GMT 2004 Responsible-Changed-Why: Ask emulation-list for help http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=72865 From owner-freebsd-emulation@FreeBSD.ORG Sat Oct 30 06:33:40 2004 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 2C1FC16A4CE; Sat, 30 Oct 2004 06:33:40 +0000 (GMT) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [216.136.204.21]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 0A4CA43D2F; Sat, 30 Oct 2004 06:33:40 +0000 (GMT) (envelope-from linimon@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (linimon@localhost [127.0.0.1]) i9U6XdTM032378; Sat, 30 Oct 2004 06:33:39 GMT (envelope-from linimon@freefall.freebsd.org) Received: (from linimon@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.12.11/8.12.11/Submit) id i9U6Xdao032374; Sat, 30 Oct 2004 06:33:39 GMT (envelope-from linimon) Date: Sat, 30 Oct 2004 06:33:39 GMT From: Mark Linimon Message-Id: <200410300633.i9U6Xdao032374@freefall.freebsd.org> To: linimon@FreeBSD.org, freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org, emulation@FreeBSD.org Subject: Re: kern/73165: [patch] getting rid of COMPAT_43 dependancy in linux emulation layer X-BeenThere: freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.1 Precedence: list List-Id: Development of Emulators of other operating systems List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sat, 30 Oct 2004 06:33:40 -0000 Old Synopsis: getting rid of COMPAT_43 dependancy in linux emulation layer New Synopsis: [patch] getting rid of COMPAT_43 dependancy in linux emulation layer Responsible-Changed-From-To: freebsd-bugs->emulation Responsible-Changed-By: linimon Responsible-Changed-When: Sat Oct 30 06:33:03 GMT 2004 Responsible-Changed-Why: Over to mailing list for evaluation. http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=73165
