Hi Jesper, Seems it is having trouble again. The last sync of /pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-current/All/ was May 28, 2004. The last update of the same on ftp-master is July 6th; with freebsd.isc.org showing it was able to sync the new packages from ftp-master. This is of course causing major problems with 'pkg_add -r' and 'portupgrade -PP'. -- -- David (obrien@FreeBSD.org) From owner-freebsd-hubs@FreeBSD.ORG Mon Jul 12 08:01:13 2004 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-hubs@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 572F516A4CE for ; Mon, 12 Jul 2004 08:01:13 +0000 (GMT) Received: from mail.droso.net (koala.droso.net [193.88.12.38]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 23AEB43D46 for ; Mon, 12 Jul 2004 08:01:13 +0000 (GMT) (envelope-from erwin@mail.droso.net) Received: by mail.droso.net (Postfix, from userid 1001) id 389E322856; Mon, 12 Jul 2004 10:01:12 +0200 (CEST) Date: Mon, 12 Jul 2004 10:01:12 +0200 From: Erwin Lansing To: hubs@FreeBSD.org Message-ID: <20040712080112.GB38829@droso.net> Mail-Followup-To: hubs@FreeBSD.org References: <20040405224812.GA37372@xor.obsecurity.org> <20040405225514.GD63748@skriver.dk> <20040712043442.GA82124@hub.freebsd.org> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/signed; micalg=pgp-sha1; protocol="application/pgp-signature"; boundary="/NkBOFFp2J2Af1nK" Content-Disposition: inline In-Reply-To: <20040712043442.GA82124@hub.freebsd.org> X-Operating-System: FreeBSD/i386 5.2.1-RELEASE-p1 User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.6i Subject: Re: ftp.freebsd.org problems again X-BeenThere: freebsd-hubs@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.1 Precedence: list List-Id: FreeBSD Distributions Hubs: mail sup ftp List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Mon, 12 Jul 2004 08:01:13 -0000 --/NkBOFFp2J2Af1nK Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable On Mon, Jul 12, 2004 at 04:34:42AM +0000, David O'Brien wrote: > On Tue, Apr 06, 2004 at 12:55:15AM +0200, Jesper Skriver wrote: > > On Mon, Apr 05, 2004 at 03:48:13PM -0700, Kris Kennaway wrote: > > > Looks like ftp.freebsd.org is having problems again (I'm getting > > > timeouts, connection refused, and truncation of data transfers). > >=20 > > It looks normal to me, light to medium load, and I get expected > > throughput from my DSL in the UK and freefall too. >=20 > Hi Jesper, >=20 > Seems it is having trouble again. > The last sync of /pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-current/All/ was May > 28, 2004.
