Windows says it's an Alps Pointing Device, on interrupt 12. (1) What should work? (2) If I disable the mouse driver, will this affect my X Windows installation? In previous versions (4.X BRANCH) I never encountered problems like these. During install it said that 116820/16/63 was an invalid drive geometry. But this is the value the installation auto-detects. When I just ignore the message and go install it will hang during installation of the base. This fujitsu harddisk is a normal ATA IDE harddisk, running on ata1-master UDMA100. Anyone already got experience with these kind of troubles, and especially the ones who got it fixed? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh besides, I'm not able to install 4.9 because of a lack of the Broadcom 440x network driver. It was first released in the 5.2 Series. Thanks in advance. -- Met vriendelijke groet/With kind regards, Vincent Bruijnes NL ISP Postbus 460 1250 AL Laren Tel.: 0871 - 901 505 Fax: 0871 - 901 505 http://www.nlisp.nl ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
