I found that doing so breaks the build (or causes errors in not being able to set the locale) in other ports. Setting it to "en" doesn't help, either. Unsetting it allows other ports like www/p5-libwww to build okay. This is on FreeBSD-5.3-STABLE. Anyone know if we should be concerned about that issue in the SpamAssassin-3.0 INSTALL file?
