Hi folks, Can anyone confirm that RELENG_4 will support a TH8BG-YF Quantum DLT 8000 LVD tape drive? I know, I know. If it's standards-compliant, it should be supported. As a consumer, I have no way of knowing about its standards compliance. :-) I haven't had good luck with FreeBSD and tape support yet, so I thought I'd check before we buy the equipment, this time. If nobody van vouch for this thing, perhaps someone could recommend something that's actually available at the moment. Most of the stuff I get positive hits for from archived mail is out of production. Ciao, Sheldon.
