I haven't used kv8, but used av8, av8 has lots of bugs in ACPI script, also
FreeBSD can boot and all devices seem be probed right, but kernel will keep
printing annoying messages, vty0 is unusable if you press backspace and 
cause
console to bell. ACPI is really failure technology.
