Hello,

My latest ports update failed on the "portsdb -Uu" phase. Here is the =
exact error I get:

Updating the ports index ... Generating INDEX.tmp - please =
wait..cpan-upload-2.2: "/usr/ports/textproc/p5-PodParser" non-existent =
-- dependency list incomplete
=3D=3D=3D> devel/cpan-upload failed
*** Error code 1
1 error

I am using FreeBSD 5.4-r2 i386 (CPU: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.40GHz =
(2399.74-MHz 686-class CPU)

The steps I took to perform this upgrade were:

1)  cvsup -g -L 2 /usr/share/examples/cvsup/ports-supfile
2) portsdb -Uu

The ports-supfile is the default one and only has the *default host=3D =
line changed:

*default host=3Dcvsup1.de.FreeBSD.org
*default base=3D/var/db
*default prefix=3D/usr
*default release=3Dcvs tag=3D.
*default delete use-rel-suffix

The contents of my /etc/make.conf is simply:

# added by use.perl 2005-06-04 17:45:08
PERL_VER=3D5.8.6
PERL_VERSION=3D5.8.6

Please can you check this out - is it just my system?

regards
Wang
