A public memorial service for all five men was planned for Sunday. Oyler was charged with five counts of murder, 11 counts of arson and 10 counts of use of an incendiary device. The charges include seven fires in June, one in July, one in September and two in October. Last week's fire was stoked by Santa Ana winds as it swept southwest through the mountains about 90 miles east of Los Angeles. The flames overran the fire crew, destroyed 34 homes and charred more than 60 square miles before being contained Monday. "This arrest really does help with some of the closure, the healing that we in the Forest Service community, and in the families, need," said Jeanne Wade Evans, the San Bernardino National Forest supervisor. Currently cvsup.au points towards cvsup.isp.net.au which is unroutable for me (and has been for a few days). cvsup2.au points to the same place. cvsup{3,4}.au don't resolve. cvsup{5,6} both seem to work. cvsup7.au points to mirror.aarnet.edu.au which is refusing connections atm. I don't know if that is temporary or permanent. I'm hoping the appropriate people will be reading this list and can indicate if, for the broken ones, the problem is temporary or permanent. After some appropriate time interval to see if the currently broken ones are coming back I was thinking 5 and 6 be bumped up to 1 & 2 and the rest purged (aliasing them to one of the 2 working mirrors)? Well I am cvsup5 (and also an NS for the au.freebsd.org zone) and looking at our graphs, I can see an increase in the number of daily connections starting quite a number of weeks ago. > I'm hoping the appropriate people will be reading this list and can > indicate if, for the broken ones, the problem is temporary or permanent. > > After some appropriate time interval to see if the currently broken ones > are coming back I was thinking 5 and 6 be bumped up to 1 & 2 and the > rest purged (aliasing them to one of the 2 working mirrors)? I have CC'd to David Dawes (aka hostmaster@au) who can re-juggle the zone around to make things good again if no response is received. I would be more than happy to take on the role of cvsup.au (in addition to cvsup5.au) to get things back on track again. Jarrod.
