However, the OS tag is decided by platform() of the standard `platform' module, so changing its behavior make unexpected result globally. I'll investigate whether it can be changed before committing the patch. :-) Hye-Shik From owner-freebsd-python@FreeBSD.ORG Wed Jun 13 19:00:45 2007 Return-Path: X-Original-To: python@freebsd.org Delivered-To: freebsd-python@FreeBSD.ORG Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [69.147.83.52]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 113C216A46F for ; Wed, 13 Jun 2007 19:00:45 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from kientzle@freebsd.org) Received: from kientzle.com (h-66-166-149-50.snvacaid.covad.net [66.166.149.50]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id D18B513C455 for ; Wed, 13 Jun 2007 19:00:44 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from kientzle@freebsd.org) Received: from [10.0.0.222] (p54.kientzle.com [66.166.149.54]) by kientzle.com (8.12.9/8.12.9) with ESMTP id l5DITwH7071152 for ; Wed, 13 Jun 2007 11:29:58 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from kientzle@freebsd.org) Message-ID: <467037A6.1060801@freebsd.org> Date: Wed, 13 Jun 2007 11:29:58 -0700 From: Tim Kientzle User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; FreeBSD i386; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20060422 X-Accept-Language: en-us, en MIME-Version: 1.0 To: python@freebsd.org Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Cc: Subject: Stackless? It used to be in ports so it needs to be ressurected, for a while though it just didn't work but last time I tried it compiled out of box fine and was quite useable. > > I've started using this at work and am rapidly > becoming a convert. It's pretty cool I must say, you should also check out pypy they've done a lot of cool things extending Python that are worth a look.
