This is not a Problem Report but some questions that you have. They can give pointers on which sounddriver you need to load (we need more information from your system before we can do that), and things like that. The Gnats DB is not the proper medium for that. Thanks for using FreeBSD and taking the time to report this though, we appreciate it that you are willing to make FreeBSD better. http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=129113 From owner-freebsd-i386@FreeBSD.ORG Mon Nov 24 15:50:02 2008 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-i386@hub.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 61CCB1065675 for ; Mon, 24 Nov 2008 15:50:02 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from gnats@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::28]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 28FE18FC17 for ; Mon, 24 Nov 2008 15:50:02 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from gnats@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (gnats@localhost [127.0.0.1]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.3/8.14.3) with ESMTP id mAOFo1Fl043277 for ; Mon, 24 Nov 2008 15:50:01 GMT (envelope-from gnats@freefall.freebsd.org) Received: (from gnats@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.3/8.14.3/Submit) id mAOFo16H043276; Mon, 24 Nov 2008 15:50:01 GMT (envelope-from gnats) Resent-Date: Mon, 24 Nov 2008 15:50:01 GMT Resent-Message-Id: <200811241550.mAOFo16H043276@freefall.freebsd.org> Resent-From: FreeBSD-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.org (GNATS Filer) Resent-To: freebsd-i386@FreeBSD.org Resent-Reply-To: FreeBSD-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.org, Mam Ruoc Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 97855106564A for ; Mon, 24 Nov 2008 15:48:34 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from nobody@FreeBSD.org) Received: from www.freebsd.org (www.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::21]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 89F7A8FC08 for ; Mon, 24 Nov 2008 15:48:34 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from nobody@FreeBSD.org) Received: from www.freebsd.org (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by www.freebsd.org (8.14.3/8.14.3) with ESMTP id mAOFmYsW079006 for ; Mon, 24 Nov 2008 15:48:34 GMT (envelope-from nobody@www.freebsd.org) Received: (from nobody@localhost) by www.freebsd.org (8.14.3/8.14.3/Submit) id mAOFmY9f079005; Mon, 24 Nov 2008 15:48:34 GMT (envelope-from nobody) Message-Id: <200811241548.mAOFmY9f079005@www.freebsd.org> Date: Mon, 24 Nov 2008 15:48:34 GMT From: Mam Ruoc To: freebsd-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.org X-Send-Pr-Version: www-3.1 Cc: Subject: i386/129135: vge driver on a VIA mini-ITX not working X-BeenThere: freebsd-i386@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: I386-specific issues for FreeBSD List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Mon, 24 Nov 2008 15:50:02 -0000 >Number: 129135 >Category: i386 >Synopsis: vge driver on a VIA mini-ITX not working >Confidential: no >Severity: serious >Priority: high >Responsible: freebsd-i386 >State: open >Quarter: >Keywords: >Date-Required: >Class: sw-bug >Submitter-Id: current-users >Arrival-Date: Mon Nov 24 15:50:01 UTC 2008 >Closed-Date: >Last-Modified: >Originator: Mam Ruoc >Release: 7.0 >Organization: >Environment: unsure, booted from a bootonly cd for release 7.0 >Description: The on-board via mini-itx NIC is not been enabled.
