It has been over a year since my last setup like that and I know AVM have since discontinued all their multiport BRI cards. It looks like the only multiport BRI cards left are the passive ones (eg. HFC based cards). What I've found with some googling is about 2 years old, and I know ISDN4BSD was recently removed from 7.0 onwards. Does anyone know what is the current and forseeable future status of using passive BRI cards with Asterisk under FreeBSD? Thanks, Aragon (wishing partial PRIs were feasable here) From owner-freebsd-isdn@FreeBSD.ORG Thu Jul 24 17:48:47 2008 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-isdn@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 864111065673 for ; Thu, 24 Jul 2008 17:48:47 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from hselasky@c2i.net) Received: from swip.net (mailfe05.swip.net [212.247.154.129]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 25ED68FC14 for ; Thu, 24 Jul 2008 17:48:46 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from hselasky@c2i.net) X-Cloudmark-Score: 0.000000 [] X-Cloudmark-Analysis: v=1.0 c=1 a=6MIg2jpqvhTpo/gR8GzG7Q==:17 a=ndaoGXS1AAAA:8 a=oPQ8jYx9XupoaVvLHqsA:9 a=U6SPrKpMMkz2IfiRMiYA:7 a=lp3WyUHL2rfGPY576-v4QAi0STMA:4 a=LY0hPdMaydYA:10 Received: from [62.113.133.243] (account mc467741@c2i.net [62.113.133.243] verified) by mailfe05.swip.net (CommuniGate Pro SMTP 5.2.4b) with ESMTPA id 917322359; Thu, 24 Jul 2008 19:48:44 +0200 From: Hans Petter Selasky To: freebsd-isdn@freebsd.org Date: Thu, 24 Jul 2008 19:50:25 +0200 User-Agent: KMail/1.9.7 References: <20080723230237.GA28246@phat.za.net> In-Reply-To: <20080723230237.GA28246@phat.za.net> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline Message-Id: <200807241950.25736.hselasky@c2i.net> Cc: Aragon Gouveia Subject: Re: ISDN status on FreeBSD?
