Previous experience with multithreaded =20 applications is desired, and the ideal candidate has an in-depth =20 understanding of the underlying hardware with respect to locking, =20 barriers, cache coherency, etc. The preferred candidate will also =20 have a track record of refactoring problems to extract optimal =20 concurrency.
