First, you must download the firmware (from usbmidi package http://homepage3.nifty.com/StudioBreeze/software/bin/usbmidi-20040829.tar.gz) with ezload (ports/misc/ezload), and devices /dev/midi0.0 to /dev/umidi0.f are ready to work. Note that the "-x" option is required with ezdownload (?). That doesn't works with official M-audio firmware: this version is split in two files (bootloader + firmware), and ezload does not seem to know to deal with that case. Great job, Thanks!. Luc. FWIW, I use a PVR-500 (which is basically 2 150's on one card) with amd64, and FreeBSD 6.2-stable. I see no reason why your cards' shouldn't wor with 7.0 / amd64. I also have a pvr-350, also on FreeBSD 6.3-stable / amd64. Trouble is, kldstat and kldload are in disagreement. I run FreeBSD-current, the kernel is less than 2 weeks old, and the oss was reinstalled an hour ago, so it's probably nothing to do with versions being wrong. kldload claims that osscore.ko is already loaded, but kldstat -v | grep oss gives me no oss modules at all. Any idea on this? If it matters, I have a Asus Striker Extreme motherboard, it's an MCP55 thing, with an Analog Devices ADI1988b onboard, so it ought to run hd audio. I don't run the snd_hda drivber because I've never seen anything on what files in dev will carry what uses for that driver, but I do know that for the oss, so I wanted to use oss.
