Perhaps the steps to reproduce the bug are missing, because some people are telling me, they have no problems. I have this problem, and you bug-fix definitely fixes it. So I too hope it gets committed. But the reason for the delay may be as simple as that we are just a few days off a ports freeze, and the appropriate committer is probably overworked, either with other ports issues, or with job related activities.
