I was merely trying to be helpful and give pointers to people and places with better information ;-) Is it really not possible to run the application on 6.3? We have been running 6-STABLE on some IBM-blades for months (because of the MPT-raid - I don't remember if the NICs were also an issue). I think we actually do have some of the newer HP blades for evaluation here, but we have not tried to boot FreeBSD on them - mostly for lack of time. cheers, Rainer -- Rainer Duffner CISSP, LPI, MCSE rainer@ultra-secure.de From owner-freebsd-proliant@FreeBSD.ORG Fri Feb 15 22:05:08 2008 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-proliant@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id DCA6016A418 for ; Fri, 15 Feb 2008 22:05:08 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from rainer@ultra-secure.de) Received: from bsd.ultra-secure.de (bsd.ultra-secure.de [62.146.20.26]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4900413C44B for ; Fri, 15 Feb 2008 22:05:08 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from rainer@ultra-secure.de) Received: (qmail 18011 invoked by uid 89); 15 Feb 2008 22:04:47 -0000 Received: by simscan 1.1.0 ppid: 17995, pid: 17997, t: 3.9978s scanners: attach: 1.1.0 clamav: 0.88.7/m:44/d:4673 spam: 3.1.7 X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.1.7 (2006-10-05) on bsd.ultra-secure.de X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, score=-2.5 required=5.0 tests=AWL,BAYES_00 autolearn=ham version=3.1.7 Received: from unknown (HELO ?192.168.1.200?)
