I'm having a number of problems using the standalone universal makefile that
comes with the compiz plugins such as freewins when compiling on freebsd.

Using make is hopeless. With gmake it fails to find the plugin code, and ends
up installing only the bcop options code. I manually compiled and linked the
code to get it working.

So has anyone else has seen and solved this problem of plugin building on a
freebsd system?
