Sometimes the X system needs drivers from the system, drivers which you didn't load. I can imagine that you are not doing that on purpose, so I would like to point you to the x11@ mailinglist, and/or the questions@ mailinglist to help and determine how and which driver you can and should load to get this properly going. If we can find out that for example the driver is not yet suppoted, please report back to me so that I can open the PR again, and if I have enough information perhaps add a quirck to one of the drivers to make it work or communicate with developers to get support in (or at least know the position and possibilities of a driver). Thanks for understanding and trying to get FreeBSD even better, it's appreciated! http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=146075 From owner-freebsd-i386@FreeBSD.ORG Wed Apr 28 11:00:09 2010 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-i386@hub.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 7F2561065672 for ; Wed, 28 Apr 2010 11:00:09 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from gnats@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::28]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 487C58FC15 for ; Wed, 28 Apr 2010 11:00:09 +0000 (UTC) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.4/8.14.4) with ESMTP id o3SB08qD088389 for ; Wed, 28 Apr 2010 11:00:08 GMT (envelope-from gnats@freefall.freebsd.org) Received: (from gnats@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.4/8.14.4/Submit) id o3SB08DX088388; Wed, 28 Apr 2010 11:00:08 GMT (envelope-from gnats) Date: Wed, 28 Apr 2010 11:00:08 GMT Message-Id: <201004281100.o3SB08DX088388@freefall.freebsd.org> To: freebsd-i386@FreeBSD.org From: GD Cc: Subject: Re: i386/142108: [panic] vm_fault: fault on nofault entry, addr: c32a4000 X-BeenThere: freebsd-i386@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list Reply-To: GD List-Id: I386-specific issues for FreeBSD List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Wed, 28 Apr 2010 11:00:09 -0000 The following reply was made to PR i386/142108; it has been noted by GNATS.
