List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Wed, 03 Feb 2010 08:51:42 -0000 Greetings people. Unfortunately I've just subscribed to this list, so I cannot reply to the original question. Just want to let you know that I'm running a ML370G2 with Proliant Tools 7.22 on FreeBSD 7.2 (Upgraded from 6.0 --> 6.2 --> 7.2 through time) I installed compat5x from ports, fixed the INSTALL file and installed as FreeBSD 5. thanks to : osx-addict I patched the hpasmcli with http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-proliant/attachments/20090218/00535c76/hpasmcli.obj and things work as a charm. I have a DL320 which I'm running FreeBSD 8 on, with this I can acknowledge the same kind of problems some of you guys have with 7.x. I can only install as FreeBSD 4 but the client doesn't work. The above mentioned patchfile is unfortunately only for the FreeBSD 5 hpasmcli, not for the FreeBSD 4. Does any of you have a patch file for the FreeBSD 4 version ? And have any of you contacted jcagle or the 2 guys from HP which is mentioned at the proliant page ? (people.freebsd.org/~jcagle) Best regards Carsten From owner-freebsd-proliant@FreeBSD.ORG Wed Feb 3 20:51:40 2010 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-proliant@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id D7F321065672 for ; Wed, 3 Feb 2010 20:51:40 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from Sandra.Wolfe@sprint.com) Received: from TX2EHSOBE005.bigfish.com (tx2ehsobe003.messaging.microsoft.com [65.55.88.13]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 874D08FC29 for ; Wed, 3 Feb 2010 20:51:40 +0000 (UTC) Received: from mail148-tx2-R.bigfish.com (10.9.14.246) by TX2EHSOBE005.bigfish.com (10.9.40.25) with Microsoft SMTP Server id 8.1.340.0; Wed, 3 Feb 2010 20:51:39 +0000 Received: from mail148-tx2 (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by mail148-tx2-R.bigfish.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id 228FCE788CB; Wed, 3 Feb 2010 20:51:39 +0000 (UTC) X-SpamScore: -31 X-BigFish: VS-31(zz9f17R98dN14ffO4015L9371Pzz1202hzz5a6ciz2fh54h53k6bh87h61h) X-Spam-TCS-SCL: 0:0 X-FB-DOMAIN-IP-MATCH: fail Received: from mail148-tx2 (localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1]) by mail148-tx2 (MessageSwitch) id 1265230296650424_28625; Wed, 3 Feb 2010 20:51:36 +0000 (UTC) Received: from TX2EHSMHS015.bigfish.com (unknown [10.9.14.238]) by mail148-tx2.bigfish.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id 906E91790053; Wed, 3 Feb 2010 20:51:36 +0000 (UTC) Received: from pdaasdm2.corp.sprint.com (144.229.32.57) by TX2EHSMHS015.bigfish.com (10.9.99.115) with Microsoft SMTP Server (TLS) id 14.0.482.39; Wed, 3 Feb 2010 20:51:35 +0000 Received: from PLSWH03A.ad.sprint.com (PLSWH03A.corp.sprint.com [144.226.242.132]) by pdaasdm2.corp.sprint.com (Sentrion-MP-4.0.0/Sentrion-MP-4.0.0) with ESMTP id o13Ko2Nn005830 (version=TLSv1/SSLv3 cipher=AES128-SHA bits=128 verify=FAIL); Wed, 3 Feb 2010 14:50:46 -0600 Received: from PLSWM07C.ad.sprint.com ([144.226.242.101]) by PLSWH03A.ad.sprint.com ([2002:90e2:f284::90e2:f284]) with mapi; Wed, 3 Feb 2010 14:51:26 -0600 From: "Wolfe, Sandra M [Ericsson Contractor for Sprint]" To: John Cagle Date: Wed, 3 Feb 2010 14:51:24 -0600 Thread-Topic: (no subject) Thread-Index: AcqkX9urT06bLFvlRXaG4igEtR7JUgAssEjw Message-ID: <704E50E7839F6B49A1BEFADAF08E01644B2BBB9F61@PLSWM07C.ad.sprint.com> References: <704E50E7839F6B49A1BEFADAF08E01644B2BB55AFC@PLSWM07C.ad.sprint.com> <6863f0c91002021530m1d960d19q5a222c62de99c92b@mail.gmail.com> In-Reply-To: <6863f0c91002021530m1d960d19q5a222c62de99c92b@mail.gmail.com> Accept-Language: en-US Content-Language: en-US X-MS-Has-Attach: yes X-MS-TNEF-Correlator: acceptlanguage: en-US Content-Type: multipart/related; boundary="_005_704E50E7839F6B49A1BEFADAF08E01644B2BBB9F61PLSWM07Cadspr_"; type="multipart/alternative" MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Reverse-DNS: smtpda2.sprint.com X-Content-Filtered-By: Mailman/MimeDel 2.1.5 Cc: "freebsd-proliant@freebsd.org" Subject: RE: (no subject) X-BeenThere: freebsd-proliant@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: "Technical discussion of FreeBSD on HP ProLiant server platforms."
