This problem existed in 6.x/10.x and exists in 11.x. If i try to access some webs via proxy, that is configured in gnome proxy settings, then chromium will response with net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT on any url, that i try to access. It seems that he has some insight of what is can happen there, and he will look for that later. -- Regards, Ruslan From owner-freebsd-chromium@FreeBSD.ORG Tue May 3 10:34:08 2011 Return-Path: Delivered-To: chromium@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id BAEA41065673; Tue, 3 May 2011 10:34:08 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from baptiste.daroussin@gmail.com) Received: from mail-fx0-f54.google.com (mail-fx0-f54.google.com [209.85.161.54]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 1ACBE8FC15; Tue, 3 May 2011 10:34:07 +0000 (UTC) Received: by fxm11 with SMTP id 11so6085476fxm.13 for ; Tue, 03 May 2011 03:34:07 -0700 (PDT) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=gamma; h=domainkey-signature:mime-version:in-reply-to:references:from:date :message-id:subject:to:cc:content-type; bh=lJQZu42MKQZWhY091GN82u43/mEevYQ65p3hHGsBnBU=; b=TCe+RWGdFsqTiDA+HwgEE47ZcBmoK0dZZmQfAOsUyrEJB+KRt8qNH3Y1yWDESASuB6 2jrk6FFESsjH+7WzPipOhOXmVGKA0rVScKq9OiS+OniJBkpYgpqUG16ZXTtgLJDH9IMV hYipeYDTeZYSpStu0HgFYR/xafNlhI/hh4Yoc= DomainKey-Signature: a=rsa-sha1; c=nofws; d=gmail.com; s=gamma; h=mime-version:in-reply-to:references:from:date:message-id:subject:to :cc:content-type; b=HtKB6/k12rGziAZxy0IWA3Z5kUBYeQDPK6+WdypoANpV7zGQ7xgwY7aaaJyh2EXPNh qgD4GQPXAkwSWflCN8YEuLBp7/6J+NxS4COy7wjZON7huJnkWRWCc/8C/Rge3RSCNiKH clYUcz5zh6JZEkhL8FUE8r5RR8o/CNDCukRE8= Received: by 10.223.83.199 with SMTP id g7mr752813fal.142.1304418832079; Tue, 03 May 2011 03:33:52 -0700 (PDT) MIME-Version: 1.0 Received: by 10.223.123.137 with HTTP; Tue, 3 May 2011 03:33:32 -0700 (PDT) In-Reply-To: References: <4DBFA802.7010809@yandex.ru> <4DBFCA0F.6000006@yandex.ru> From: Baptiste Daroussin Date: Tue, 3 May 2011 12:33:32 +0200 Message-ID: To: George Liaskos Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Cc: FreeBSD Ports Mailing List , chromium@freebsd.org, Ruslan Mahmatkhanov Subject: Re: www/chromium ignores gnome proxy settings X-BeenThere: freebsd-chromium@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: FreeBSD-specific Chromium issues List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Tue, 03 May 2011 10:34:08 -0000 > > I use a simple stub for proxy config, ProxyConfigServiceNull > http://trillian.chruetertee.ch/chromium/browser/ports/www/chromium/files/patch-net__proxy__proxy_service.cc > Long time I haven't look at this, but my kqueue patches used to work in the past. regards, Bapt From owner-freebsd-chromium@FreeBSD.ORG Tue May 3 10:49:15 2011 Return-Path: Delivered-To: chromium@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 75D20106564A; Tue, 3 May 2011 10:49:15 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from cvs-src@yandex.ru) Received: from forward14.mail.yandex.net (forward14.mail.yandex.net [95.108.130.92]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 1E7C48FC08; Tue, 3 May 2011 10:49:14 +0000 (UTC) Received: from smtp11.mail.yandex.net (smtp11.mail.yandex.net [95.108.130.67]) by forward14.mail.yandex.net (Yandex) with ESMTP id 46B0419812EE; Tue, 3 May 2011 14:49:13 +0400 (MSD) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=yandex.ru; s=mail; t=1304419753; bh=fcD3v6eK9pYA4yD5+uJ1zTvO/Gxq027JomgbHo3cEYo=; h=Message-ID:Date:From:MIME-Version:To:CC:Subject:References: In-Reply-To:Content-Type:Content-Transfer-Encoding; b=L7cLCkTseN7vnjMlGa+8i60xARb719RaJjIWmIYWVivtmwZ+atW9ht9xRsf9IZbzk NyoLrzZttMNVfrrplbAc9lSrxiAs8b74BVlXFma810nb2G+6iQMyev+JNk9J3KR+aU s4MvZX3V1S5GQX+swG5yLp9ZW+JlCERFuOKAC+6Y= Received: from smeshariki2.local (unknown [213.27.65.65]) by smtp11.mail.yandex.net (Yandex) with ESMTPSA id C464B4CC0030; Tue, 3 May 2011 14:49:12 +0400 (MSD) Message-ID: <4DBFDD24.7000406@yandex.ru> Date: Tue, 03 May 2011 14:47:00 +0400 From: Ruslan Mahmatkhanov User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; FreeBSD i386; ru-RU; rv:1.9.2.17) Gecko/20110429 Thunderbird/3.1.10 MIME-Version: 1.0 To: George Liaskos References: <4DBFA802.7010809@yandex.ru> <4DBFCA0F.6000006@yandex.ru> In-Reply-To: Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit X-Yandex-Spam: 1 Cc: FreeBSD Ports Mailing List , chromium@freebsd.org, Baptiste Daroussin Subject: Re: www/chromium ignores gnome proxy settings X-BeenThere: freebsd-chromium@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: FreeBSD-specific Chromium issues List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Tue, 03 May 2011 10:49:15 -0000 03.05.2011 13:54, George Liaskos пишет: > I use a simple stub for proxy config, ProxyConfigServiceNull > http://trillian.chruetertee.ch/chromium/browser/ports/www/chromium/files/patch-net__proxy__proxy_service.cc > > config_service_linux.cc uses inotify, there are some kqueue patches > but they used to crash the browser.
