Why can't we simply track official releases instead of snapshots? We do this now for lang/gcc which is the default and preferred version of GCC to use, and keep tracking upstream with lang/gcc46 et al. Since then I have changed the Mk/bsd.gcc.mk system such that lang/gcc is not only used when present, but also dragged in by default (for package builds or local systems). If you want stability and infrequent updates, lang/gcc it is now. :-) Gerald
