Hi,

Hope you are well, I was surfing through your website www.freebsd.org and realized that despite having a great design; it was not ranking on any of the search engines (Google Yahoo and Bing) for most of the keywords relating to your business.

I am affiliated with an SEO company based in Australia that has helped over 300 businesses rank on the 1st Page of GOOGLE for even the most competitive Industries.

We want to bring our services to New Zealand and really start helping out local businesses attract new customers.

Let me know if you are interested and I will send you our company details or create a proposal so you can see exactly where you rank compared to your competitors.

I look forward to your response.

Regards,

Jeremy Bray

My suggestion is the following : ( 1) One or more people having sufficient knowledge to modify it to satisfy current needs handle this to rewrite its required parts to describe new possibilities ( Samba , CUPS , etc. ) . (2) The Handbook contains the following section : http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/network-samba.html The modified document may be incorporated into this section and to other suitable sections , and in that way , it may be eliminated as an independent document and be made living with the Handbook . For that reason , usable parts of this article may be incorporated into the above chapter and information about the new networking state may be added and this article may be eliminated completely . If it is modernized and left alone , over time again it will become outdated because it is very likely that it will not be utilized very much as it is understood from its existent state . The Handbook is a required and used document and it is continuously updated . Actually , cooperation among contributors may be very useful in the following sense : Assume that a person has sufficient knowledge to rewrite some parts . He or she prepares a plain text document containing the necessary information . Another person knowing very well how to develop a web page , converts that text document to a suitable web page even he or she does not know semantics of the content . It is difficult to find a person that knows "everything well" and has "time unlimited" . Thank you very much . Nevertheless, it is quite a good article, certainly worth a link from the "In The Media" column on the FreeBSD home page (freebsd-www@ cc'ed for that reason). I want to get this into the Handbook though, so people have some documentation on how things work. I have another box with a M1015 which is virtually identical to M1115, with the difference that RAID 5 level is locked via a hardware, not a software token (M1115). Booting a box with 9.1-RC3 confirms this. Since both adapters are based on the MegaRAID 9240 board whose sole difference to IBM branded cards is the firmware having RAID5 unlocked. We may safely add this to the manpage too?
