Hi,

This morning I did a complete test of the HD c910 and as well another
Logitech cam Pro 9000; here are the results of the test of the micro,
recording sound with 'dd if=/dev/dsp1 of=/tmp/sound':

laptop/kernel rev | Logitech HD c910 | Logitech Pro 9000
------------------+------------------+------------------
Acer Aspire One | not ok | not ok
r214444           |                  |
------------------+------------------+------------------
Dell M4400 | not ok | not ok
r220692           |                  |
------------------+------------------+------------------
Asus EeePC 900 | OK | not ok
r226986           |                  |
------------------+------------------+------------------
Acer Aspire One | OK | not ok
r226986           |                  |
------------------+------------------+------------------
F/S Amilo D 8820  | OK               | not ok
r235646           |                  |
------------------+------------------+------------------

Note the row for 'Acer Aspire One with r226986': I've booted the Acer
with an USB key which contains the same kernel as the Asus EeePC 900
(because the Asus was installed from that USB key); now the c910 is
recording in the Acer, while it was not with the kernel r214444;

the other cam, Logitech Pro 9000, is not recording in any of my laptops
and kernels;

HIH
