I'm happy to tell you that I've just launched our newest product, the Monkey Light Pro. Right now it's available only on Kickstarter (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/minimonkey/monkey-light-pro-bicycle-wheel-display-system) . I've been working on this project for over 5 years, so i'm really excited that we're finally able to make it available. You might have seen some of the prototypes in my exhibits at Maker Faire, a museum, or elsewhere. Our new video (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/minimonkey/monkey-light-pro-bicycle-wheel-display-system) is awesome silly fun and explains everything. I really hope you'll check it out, and share it if you like it. Have Fun! We have some customizations and strange uses, which can be expressed with DocBook 5.0's own vocabulary. This upgrade is a good opportunity to change these, as well. I propose the following changes in our vocabulary: DocBook 5.0 has a systemitem element, which expresses actors of a human-system interactions. This has the class attribute to further classify the actor. Alternatively, we can just mark up each of them as systemitem without class attributes since they are not distinguished in rendering. Actually, I tend to prefer this solution since it simplifies the markup and thus lowers the learning curve of DocBook, which is often criticized by people, who would prefer markdown or wiki-style documentation. username --> systemitem class="username" groupname --> systemitem class="groupname" hostid role="fqdn" --> systemitem class="fqdomainname" hostid role="hostname" --> systemitem class="fqdomainname" hostid role="domainname" --> systemitem class="fqdomainname" hostid role="netmask" --> systemitem class="netmask" hostid role="mac" --> systemitem class="etheraddress" hostid role="ipaddr" --> systemitem class="ipaddress" hostid --> systemitem This is actually a type of file and the filename class attribute may also be devicefile, which expresses its semantics. Again, we should consider dropping the class attributes to simplify things: devicename --> filename class="devicefile" These are not actually distinguished in formatting and the package element expresses them better: filename role="package" --> package filename role="port" --> package Comments are welcome. The second column, however, is simply the amount of packets matched (in and out). Furthermore, the third column is a byte counter, not a packet counter. The fourth column is indeed the rule itself. You can verify this in "/usr/src/sbin/ipfw/ipfw2.c" when you search for the function "ipfw_list". This is what you'll find: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ /* if showing stats, figure out column widths ahead of time */ bcwidth = pcwidth = 0; if (show_counters) { for (n = 0, r = data; n < nstat; n++, r = NEXT(r)) { /* skip rules from another set */ if (co.use_set && r->set != co.use_set - 1) continue; /* packet counter */ width = pr_u64(&r->pcnt, 0); if (width > pcwidth) pcwidth = width; /* byte counter */ width = pr_u64(&r->bcnt, 0); if (width > bcwidth) bcwidth = width; } } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ >How-To-Repeat: Read the IPFW section in the FreeBSD Handbook. >Fix: The IPFW page in the Handbook should be corrected to reflect the correct purposes of the columns in `ipfw show` output. >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
