I have just been given a G5 in immaculate condition, and have beed trying to load FreeBSD 9.1 from DVD. it boots ok and somtimes gets as far as the Install prompt, but I get warnings of CPU core Overtemp and they shut down. The machine then hangs. It runs fine on OSX 10.5. Has this problem been solved. Cheers tony. -- View this message in context: http://freebsd.1045724.n5.nabble.com/mac-pro-G5-quad-2-5GHz-Over-Temp-tp5781281.html Sent from the freebsd-ppc mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
