However, this syntax fails (only first variable is set) because setenv capability of login.conf(5) actually accepts a comma-separated list of name=value pairs. Thus the example should be changed to me:\ :lang=zh_TW.Big5:\ :setenv=LC_ALL=zh_TW.Big5,LC_COLLATE=zh_TW.Big5,LC_CTYPE=zh_TW.Big5,LC_MESSAGES=zh_TW.Big5,LC_MONETARY=zh_TW.Big5,LC_NUMERIC=zh_TW.Big5,LC_TIME=zh_TW.Big5:\ .... It has been a bit long since last update of Traditional Chinese Handbook. I use github to keep my work: https://github.com/lwhsu/freebsd-bug-193066 Now I think it is time for getting this to the tree, this can make other translators continuous their good work. The change would be large, and my current plan to merge is splitting to two commits: First commit would be "catch up the latest handbook architecture", these two patches will be committed at the same time for not failing the build: https://people.freebsd.org/~lwhsu/zh_TW/mailing-lists.ent.diff https://github.com/lwhsu/freebsd-bug-193066/commit/078d55b118c31c3a093b57c5703e1167baced8de And second commit contains translations in bug 193066 and my revisions: https://github.com/lwhsu/freebsd-bug-193066/compare/078d55b118c31c3a093b57c5703e1167baced8de...master Now I need a person has doc bit to review and approve. :) Thanks, Li-Wen -- Li-Wen Hsu http://lwhsu.org From owner-freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.ORG Wed Apr 8 00:08:36 2015 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher AECDH-AES256-SHA (256/256 bits)) (No client certificate requested) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id EF07AE63 for ; Wed, 8 Apr 2015 00:08:36 +0000 (UTC) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::16:76]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id D4DDC1C8 for ; Wed, 8 Apr 2015 00:08:36 +0000 (UTC) Received: from bugs.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.118]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.14.9/8.14.9) with ESMTP id t3808anv058420 for ; Wed, 8 Apr 2015 00:08:36 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 199277] [PATCH] - Fix spelling mistakes in the spanish FAQ. Product: Documentation Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Keywords: patch Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Documentation Assignee: freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.org Reporter: demian.fc@gmail.com Keywords: patch Created attachment 155324 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=155324&action=edit Spelling fixes for the spanish FAQ. The spanish FAQ (*) is missing opening question marks in many places. This patch replaces the closing question marks at the beggining of a sentence that contains a question, with inverted question marks and ocasionally a few exclamation marks. It also contains minor spelling fixes. * Actually this happens across the entire spanish documentation tree, but this patch just covers the FAQ. The above link is just a wikipedia "talk page". It is not a "wikipedia article". Wikipedia editors use talk pages to discuss and improve the article, and the above link is just a discussion between two wikipedia editors. Talk pages are only used by the editors, the readers can't see talk pages, unless they click the "Talk" button at top of the article. Talk pages may be full of incorrect and false information (as it is in this case, but since the above discussion is now archived, it can't be changed). The article itself is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fork_(system_call) which only states that "It originated in the 3BSD version of Unix..." and does not talk about FreeBSD at all. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. Product: Documentation Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Keywords: patch Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Documentation Assignee: freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.org Reporter: roland@micite.net Keywords: patch Created attachment 155478 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=155478&action=edit Patch for openssl chapter in handbook. The current SSL key generation chapter contains a few inaccuracies and the generated keys are not up to date with today's standards. This patch shows how to generate secure keys and includes a good place for more information, namely the openssl cookbook. Mainly: - Use RSA for key generation, instead of DSA. - Fix documentation that lied about generation an RSA key while it actually was DSA. - Use SHA256 for signatures instead of older SHA1: http://blog.chromium.org/2014/09/gradually-sunsetting-sha-1.html - Use recommended 2048 bits instead of 1024. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
