It is possible to install old nvidia driver. :) I do keep a few ports
with previous versions aganist current. Here is how I do it:

Before proceeding a few questions:

1- Do you update ports tree with portsnap or subversion?

2-I probably missed your previous e-mails, are you running FreeBSD or
PCBSD?
