This is a ser= ver system and I make minimal use of USB, so I haven't seen any issues I can attribute to this. However, from what I've seen & heard this issue occurs on a wide range of Skylake (and similar generation) systems: it's not confined to a specific B= IOS or motherboard manufacturer. The status shows "not done". Is anyone working on this? I want to learn kernel/driver programming on FreeBSD and would like to volu= nteer some of my time and effort to the project. The "Hotkey/backlight/soun= d generic driver" is quite interesting as I run FreeBSD on a few laptops an= d have to endure the different ways of setting the same things (backlight, = for instance) on different hardware. Is there anything here that I can help= with? Apologies if this is a little vague. Regards, Anindya=
