The kernel rather likes allocating PATH_MAX or MAXPATHLEN sized buffers in general. This is already wasteful with PATH_MAX=3D1024 and even more so with 4096. Ideally, the majority of short pathnames would not waste so much memo= ry. For a local change I would change the one in sys/sys/syslimits.h. Then recompile everything including packages. There are a few nasty APIs like realpath() that implicitly depend on PATH_MAX. Applications that insist on it can use longer pathnames by passing only sho= rt segments to system calls and using openat(2) and other *at functions. For example, find and rm from the base system do this (provided symlinks are not being followed, the current directory can be opened for reading and the pathnames passed to the utility themselves are not too long). --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-bugs@freebsd.org Sun May 22 18:52:34 2016 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-bugs@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 36996B45958 for ; Sun, 22 May 2016 18:52:34 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::16:76]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 277C01ADC for ; Sun, 22 May 2016 18:52:34 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from bugs.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.118]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id u4MIqXoF015780 for ; Sun, 22 May 2016 18:52:34 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 206128] vmstat -z is truncated when stdout is not terminal Date: Sun, 22 May 2016 18:52:33 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Reason: AssignedTo X-Bugzilla-Type: changed X-Bugzilla-Watch-Reason: None X-Bugzilla-Product: Base System X-Bugzilla-Component: bin X-Bugzilla-Version: 11.0-CURRENT X-Bugzilla-Keywords: regression X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Only Me X-Bugzilla-Who: phil@freebsd.org X-Bugzilla-Status: New X-Bugzilla-Resolution: X-Bugzilla-Priority: --- X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: X-Bugzilla-Changed-Fields: Message-ID: In-Reply-To: References: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-Bugzilla-URL: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/ Auto-Submitted: auto-generated MIME-Version: 1.0 X-BeenThere: freebsd-bugs@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.22 Precedence: list List-Id: Bug reports List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sun, 22 May 2016 18:52:34 -0000 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D206128 --- Comment #5 from Phil Shafer --- I'll take a look tonight. However, this is not a code developm= ent problem - as you mention, openat() is the correct solution to programming l= ong paths. Rather it's a user problem - we are stuck with software written by others which was designed around a Linux PATH_MAX of 4096. Being that we ca= nnot rewrite all this software to not be so stupid, it generates substantial got= chas for end users. In terms of how to refactor the BSD kernel to handle this, I believe NT sim= ply uses dynamic memory allocation for all paths, and therefore the 64Kb path l= imit is tractable except when frequently modifying paths as the win32 layer like= s to do. An ideal solution for BSD would be some sort of variant storage which c= ould be either 256 bytes of path or a dynamic memory allocation to a path. Perha= ps a zero length path could mean "pointer to a dynamically allocated path follow= s", so something like: union { char path[256]; // for paths < 255 struct { char _zero; // lowest byte in memory is zero char _magic; // magic marker byte to detect unioned path unsigned short length; // length of path char *path; // dynamically allocated pointer to path }; }; Anyway, I'm no expert in the BSD kernel, but I would find it nice to not ha= ve to install ZFS on Linux just so I can zfs snapshot the volume onto FreeBSD = as my sole method of working around the BSD PATH_MAX limit. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-bugs@freebsd.org Mon May 23 05:52:41 2016 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-bugs@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id E6017B469B6 for ; Mon, 23 May 2016 05:52:41 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::16:76]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id D6D6F12D0 for ; Mon, 23 May 2016 05:52:41 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from bugs.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.118]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id u4N5qfYD097014 for ; Mon, 23 May 2016 05:52:41 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 209706] imgact_binmisc.ko: add support for kern_alternate_path(9) Date: Mon, 23 May 2016 05:52:41 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Reason: AssignedTo X-Bugzilla-Type: new X-Bugzilla-Watch-Reason: None X-Bugzilla-Product: Base System X-Bugzilla-Component: kern X-Bugzilla-Version: 11.0-CURRENT X-Bugzilla-Keywords: feature, needs-patch X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Only Me X-Bugzilla-Who: jbeich@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Status: New X-Bugzilla-Resolution: X-Bugzilla-Priority: --- X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: X-Bugzilla-Changed-Fields: bug_id short_desc product version rep_platform op_sys bug_status keywords bug_severity priority component assigned_to reporter cc Message-ID: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-Bugzilla-URL: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/ Auto-Submitted: auto-generated MIME-Version: 1.0 X-BeenThere: freebsd-bugs@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.22 Precedence: list List-Id: Bug reports List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Mon, 23 May 2016 05:52:42 -0000 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D209706 Bug ID: 209706 Summary: imgact_binmisc.ko: add support for kern_alternate_path(9) Product: Base System Version: 11.0-CURRENT Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Keywords: feature, needs-patch Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: jbeich@FreeBSD.org CC: sbruno@FreeBSD.org To facilitate mixing foreign executables with native in scripts image activators need to support path translation similar to linuxulator. I fixed the errors, then applied the changes that were described in t= he previous post, and used the resulting aml file to override the memory table= s on FreeBSD 11 and 10.x. However, then I decided to struggle with fixing the er= rors that I got after compiling the original asl file on FreeBSD. I eventually f= ixed them, but the changes that I described in the previous post didn't make /dev/psm0 come to life this time. So, I applied the code from this site http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/ps2-not-working-after-installing-dsdt.534= 98 and this time /dev/psm0 came to life. I have no idea why the asl file that I got on Linux was different from the one that I got on FreeBSD. Both OSes us= ed the same version of iasl to decompile the aml file. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-bugs@freebsd.org Wed May 25 07:45:01 2016 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-bugs@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id C1415B49E0B for ; POSIX specifies that RLIM_SAVED_MAX and RLIM_SAVED_CUR can be same as RLIM_INFINITY, if all limit values are represented as rlim_t. Our rlim_t is 64-bit signed (which is already non-conforming), and e.g. RLIMIT_FSIZE file sizes larger than (1ULL<<63) cannot be represented by our rlim_t without so= me strength of interpretation. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-bugs@freebsd.org Thu May 26 09:45:04 2016 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-bugs@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id E8EB6B49922 for ; You could try running: while vmstat -z | wc -c; do sleep 60; done and wait until it prints 8192 which indicates a truncation. Usually the output stays the same for a while, so if you see 8192 once, there's a fair chance that you'll be able to reproduce the problem with a debugger attached. Yesterday I saw the truncation issue for more than 80 minutes until it went away again. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-bugs@freebsd.org Thu May 26 10:46:39 2016 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-bugs@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 9E213B4AD5C for ; Thu, 26 May 2016 10:46:39 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::16:76]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 845B51D6C for ; Thu, 26 May 2016 10:46:39 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from bugs.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.118]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id u4QAkdhN087457 for ; Thu, 26 May 2016 10:46:39 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 209759] [patch] Prevent deadlocks when paging on GELI-encrypted devices Date: Thu, 26 May 2016 10:46:39 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Reason: AssignedTo X-Bugzilla-Type: new X-Bugzilla-Watch-Reason: None X-Bugzilla-Product: Base System X-Bugzilla-Component: kern X-Bugzilla-Version: 11.0-CURRENT X-Bugzilla-Keywords: patch X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Some People X-Bugzilla-Who: fk@fabiankeil.de X-Bugzilla-Status: New X-Bugzilla-Resolution: X-Bugzilla-Priority: --- X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: X-Bugzilla-Changed-Fields: bug_id short_desc product version rep_platform op_sys bug_status keywords bug_severity priority component assigned_to reporter attachments.created Message-ID: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-Bugzilla-URL: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/ Auto-Submitted: auto-generated MIME-Version: 1.0 X-BeenThere: freebsd-bugs@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.22 Precedence: list List-Id: Bug reports List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Thu, 26 May 2016 10:46:39 -0000 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D209759 Bug ID: 209759 Summary: [patch] Prevent deadlocks when paging on GELI-encrypted devices Product: Base System Version: 11.0-CURRENT Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Keywords: patch Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: fk@fabiankeil.de Keywords: patch Created attachment 170670 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D170670&action= =3Dedit GELI: Use a dedicated uma zone for writes to onetime devices The attached patch lets GELI use a dedicated uma zone for writes to onetime devices as they are likely to originate from the vm page daemon. This may reduce latency for larger writes and as we need to keep a couple of items in the zone anyway, the impact on the zone size is minor. Initial testing seems to indicate that the sysctl could be safely enabled by default in the future. Currently a single zone with a somewhat humongous item size sufficient for all GELI writes is being used. While this may look a bit wasteful, in practice we don't need a lot of items, so this seem tolerable for now. The best solution would probably be to only use the dedicated uma zone for common writes if the size is above 65356 bytes, the largest zone item size internally used by malloc. Currently the zone isn't used for reads as those are less time critical and usually are small enough for malloc() to succeed right away anyway. In r277943, the efinet_match() routine was changed to use an off by one when matching network interfaces. The effect was that using "net1" actually used the device attached to "net0". Digging into the hardware that needed this workaround more, I found that UEFI was creating two simple network protocol devices for each physical NIC. The first device was a "raw" Ethernet device and the second device was a "IP" device that used the IP protocol on top of the underlying "raw" device. The PXE code in the firmware used the "IP" device to pull across the loader.efi, so currdev was set to "net1" when booting from the physical interface "net0". (The loaded image's device handle referenced the "IP" device that "net1" claimed.) However, the IP device isn't suitable for doing raw packet I/O (and the current code to open devices exclusively actually turns the "IP" devices off on these systems). To fix, change the efinet driver to only attach to "raw" devices. This is determined by fetching the DEVICE_PATH for each handle which supports the simple network protocol and examining the last node in the path. If the last node in the path is a MAC address, the device is assumed to be a "raw" device and is added as a 'netX' device. If the last node is not a MAC address, the device is ignored. However, this causes a new problem as the device handle associated with the loaded image no longer matches any of the handles enumerated by efinet for systems that load the image via the "IP" device. To handle this case, expand the logic that resolves currdev from the loaded image in main(). First, the existing logic of looking for a handle that matches the loaded image's handle is tried. If that fails, the device path of the handle that loaded the loaded image is fetched via efi_lookup_image_devpath(). This device path is then walked from the end up to the beginning using efi_handle_lookup() to fetch the handle associated with a path. If the handle is found and is a known handle, then that is used as currdev. The effect for machines that load the image via the "IP" device is that the first lookup fails (the handle for the "IP" device isn't claimed by efinet), but walking up the image's device path finds the handle of the raw MAC device which is used as currdev. With these fixes in place, the hack to subtract 1 from the unit can now be removed, so that setting currdev to 'net0' actually uses 'net0'. Looks like the single pump cooling system started dying as of a couple of d= ays ago (May 25). Interesting oddities compared to my other exeriences: A) The problem is intermittent. B) While it is working normally the CPU diodes for CPU's B0 and B1 are the cooler 2 of 4 according to sysctl results but it is B0 and/or B1 that start getting readings in the 90+ degC range when it fails. C) I've had complete buildworld's with no sign of the problem. Other times = it shuts down fairly soon after starting that or other much smaller builds. (6= or more 90degC+ readings in a row initiates shutdown.) Its boot drive is at -r298990 (as of May 5) and it was off from May 6 throu= gh May 21 so it is not a great test of if the -r298990 update had a software change that might be contributing. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-bugs@freebsd.org Sat May 28 06:42:58 2016 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-bugs@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 42980B4D231 for ; Sat, 28 May 2016 06:42:58 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::16:76]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 0FAD212D1 for ; Sat, 28 May 2016 06:42:58 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from bugs.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.118]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id u4S6gvxK048654 for ; Sat, 28 May 2016 06:42:57 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 206128] vmstat -z is truncated when stdout is not terminal Date: Sat, 28 May 2016 06:42:57 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Reason: AssignedTo X-Bugzilla-Type: changed X-Bugzilla-Watch-Reason: None X-Bugzilla-Product: Base System X-Bugzilla-Component: bin X-Bugzilla-Version: 11.0-CURRENT X-Bugzilla-Keywords: regression X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Only Me X-Bugzilla-Who: phil@freebsd.org X-Bugzilla-Status: New X-Bugzilla-Resolution: X-Bugzilla-Priority: --- X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: X-Bugzilla-Changed-Fields: Message-ID: In-Reply-To: References: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-Bugzilla-URL: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/ Auto-Submitted: auto-generated MIME-Version: 1.0 X-BeenThere: freebsd-bugs@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.22 Precedence: list List-Id: Bug reports List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sat, 28 May 2016 06:42:58 -0000 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D206128 --- Comment #11 from Phil Shafer --- Was finally able to reproduce this and have a fix. Assuming people use unbound-control with local_unbound is a bit of a stretc= h, especially since unbound-control-setup isn't even bundled. This patch tests= the functionality of the local resolver, which is just as good or even better t= han querying the state. It assumes that local_unbound is configured to run on I= Pv4 localhost and that the .com zone is not somehow disabled or inaccessible. T= hese assumptions are *way* smaller than assuming unbound-control works. Besides that, failure is less "messy" to look at. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-bugs@freebsd.org Sat May 28 11:11:29 2016 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-bugs@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 97679B4DECF for ; Sat, 28 May 2016 11:11:29 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::16:76]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 87C4018B9 for ; Sat, 28 May 2016 11:11:29 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from bugs.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.118]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id u4SBBTji033876 for ; Sat, 28 May 2016 11:11:29 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 209788] clang fails with "frontend command failed due to signal" when building graphics/graphviz Date: Sat, 28 May 2016 11:11:29 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Reason: AssignedTo X-Bugzilla-Type: changed X-Bugzilla-Watch-Reason: None X-Bugzilla-Product: Base System X-Bugzilla-Component: bin X-Bugzilla-Version: 10.3-RELEASE X-Bugzilla-Keywords: X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Only Me X-Bugzilla-Who: venture37@geeklan.co.uk X-Bugzilla-Status: Closed X-Bugzilla-Resolution: Not A Bug X-Bugzilla-Priority: --- X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: X-Bugzilla-Changed-Fields: bug_status resolution Message-ID: In-Reply-To: References: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-Bugzilla-URL: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/ Auto-Submitted: auto-generated MIME-Version: 1.0 X-BeenThere: freebsd-bugs@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.22 Precedence: list List-Id: Bug reports List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sat, 28 May 2016 11:11:29 -0000 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D209788 Sevan Janiyan changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|New |Closed Resolution|--- |Not A Bug --- Comment #2 from Sevan Janiyan --- System had 512MB of RAM, graphviz needs a minimum of 2GB --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-bugs@freebsd.org Sat May 28 20:13:08 2016 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-bugs@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 04DE2B4E2B0 for ; Sat, 28 May 2016 20:13:08 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::16:76]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id D1BE410E4 for ; Sat, 28 May 2016 20:13:07 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from bugs.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.118]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id u4SKD7dl011043 for ; Sat, 28 May 2016 20:13:07 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 192923] Lock order reversal in vfs_bio.c bufwait Date: Sat, 28 May 2016 20:13:07 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Reason: AssignedTo X-Bugzilla-Type: changed X-Bugzilla-Watch-Reason: None X-Bugzilla-Product: Base System X-Bugzilla-Component: kern X-Bugzilla-Version: 11.0-CURRENT X-Bugzilla-Keywords: X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Only Me X-Bugzilla-Who: mva@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Status: New X-Bugzilla-Resolution: X-Bugzilla-Priority: --- X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: X-Bugzilla-Changed-Fields: Message-ID: In-Reply-To: References: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-Bugzilla-URL: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/ Auto-Submitted: auto-generated MIME-Version: 1.0 X-BeenThere: freebsd-bugs@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.22 Precedence: list List-Id: Bug reports List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sat, 28 May 2016 20:13:08 -0000 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D192923 --- Comment #3 from Marcus von Appen --- And a third one. I attempted to configure my IPv4 network settings manually a= nd once I'm done with the settings it brings me back to "Please select a netwo= rk interface to configure". I've also tried this in VMware Fusion and get the = same result. Steps to reproduce: Please select a network interface to configure: OK Configure IPv4: YES DHCP: NO IP Address: 10.2.1.200 Subnetmask: 255.255.255.0 Default Router: 10.2.1.1 Installer returns you to interface selection. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
