When compiled with newer version gsoap 2.8.29, I do notice localhost.18083 comes online again and vboxwebsrv does start normal again. However there are still connection problems to resolve. The problem was that COFF files want to load at address 0, which is no long= er allowed by default. The executable code ends up on the wrong address, and crashes. So it is not really a bug, just difficult to use. There was some follow-up discussion that this setting is documented in aout= (4), but that some more documentation and clearer messages might be added for CO= FF=20 (or iBCS2) too. Or make the COFF loader allow this automatically. Most people would probably never find this out for themselves, and would ju= st conclude that iBCS2 is broken, so I think some of those suggestions should = be undertaken. It took me a long time to find this by googling too. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org Sat Apr 2 23:54:31 2016 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-emulation@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 975ECB01331 for ; Sat, 2 Apr 2016 23:54:31 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from cory.bennett@luhvart.com) Received: from mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (mailman.ysv.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::50:5]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 7FD24156D for ; Sat, 2 Apr 2016 23:54:31 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from cory.bennett@luhvart.com) Received: by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) id 7B78AB01330; Sat, 2 Apr 2016 23:54:31 +0000 (UTC) Delivered-To: emulation@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 7B160B0132F for ; Sat, 2 Apr 2016 23:54:31 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from cory.bennett@luhvart.com) Received: from n13-vm4.bullet.mail.ne1.yahoo.com (n13-vm4.bullet.mail.ne1.yahoo.com [98.138.121.228]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256 (128/128 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 56B76156C for ; Sat, 2 Apr 2016 23:54:31 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from cory.bennett@luhvart.com) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=yahoo.com; s=s2048; t=1459641125; bh=0rPFWy52X2RE4clYfSD4Q2Ngg3HuXwGCPpCkgAgUE44=; h=To:Subject:Date:From:Reply-To:From:Subject; b=GGxx49k98Cf9cNZfBnQQ9AKuOLQuk7bmTi5SP9OZ5ZIp+pbcPqKWademzSIBKfXtjUI+YvwMccNxSsyUamfeyt5igt1BbbAh1agigVWFnJ/9T+dKc2Mv8itazithfY3IoG/yP9H5xQ6/46bQ9KgLF2Homa66DnlfxrniyqWOdY02tOgPJyeIgy44TDnJ/YrEaQnMpww0xAv+Hv+thvLE1o5fzaAQkf69o003WJcJQ9mjV8rnoqf78hfHB8GauPTWB2WKhhWp6L+EuY1WJFEsLJa53F90i3Z6wJaWQuRrS6yY1CxFVyXdpv/N7Gg2x32K7M0AZwBxjtYAbf8XcwfJcQ== Received: from [98.138.226.175] by n13.bullet.mail.ne1.yahoo.com with NNFMP; 02 Apr 2016 23:52:05 -0000 Received: from [98.138.19.147] by t4.bullet.mail.ne1.yahoo.com with NNFMP; 02 Apr 2016 23:52:05 -0000 Received: from [127.0.0.1] by p8db6.geo.ne1.yahoo.com with NNFMP; 02 Apr 2016 23:52:05 -0000 To: emulation@freebsd.org Subject: Notice to appear in Court #00000516650 Date: Sat, 2 Apr 2016 16:52:05 -0700 From: "District Court" Reply-To: "District Court" Message-ID: <388ab9639a8b08195d156ce55a9174de@luhvart.com> X-Priority: 3 MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Yahoo-Newman-Property: ysbs X-Yahoo-Newman-Id: ysbs_wh1459641125 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii X-Content-Filtered-By: Mailman/MimeDel 2.1.21 X-BeenThere: freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.21 Precedence: list List-Id: Development of Emulators of other operating systems List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sat, 02 Apr 2016 23:54:31 -0000 Notice to Appear, You have to appear in the Court on the April 09.
