In the meantime i've just been attempting to debug the implementation of Wikisort in order to remove the O(1) additional memory error. I've narrowed the problem space a bit but haven't found the culprit code yet. - Miles From owner-soc-status@freebsd.org Thu Aug 17 13:31:55 2017 Return-Path: Delivered-To: soc-status@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 7613ADE2239 for ; Thu, 17 Aug 2017 13:31:55 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from sux2mfgj@gmail.com) Received: from mail-qk0-x231.google.com (mail-qk0-x231.google.com [IPv6:2607:f8b0:400d:c09::231]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256 (128/128 bits)) (Client CN "smtp.gmail.com", Issuer "Google Internet Authority G2" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 34043722B6 for ; Thu, 17 Aug 2017 13:31:55 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from sux2mfgj@gmail.com) Received: by mail-qk0-x231.google.com with SMTP id z18so36454769qka.4 for ; Thu, 17 Aug 2017 06:31:55 -0700 (PDT) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=20161025; h=mime-version:from:date:message-id:subject:to; bh=/9ufA8osO423eyAwZgxqTaF8Srl9F3UHBXhtpsyVEPM=; b=bK5j1vrG6i0ogaOriVKie2kcbN/U5ssy7FGs2QPahkBBN21tRg/nl+ybp/rLXEYxO1 bFbQl4/FkAAZ+g8miMfYWEtKdPw++Tce3ntKRvJhEKCyiTmL7sHK+McYBnLau1933Lrx YHqeXGOYWPdjKdbabtWauxm8O2gsObDOSZZ4Ka/jsoJj5PgYqb7ftyFkgXlmHtNw3H3i vdIAX6mOpFb4MWA/XFsBGNQKLM/klhVcSY+9KDw+ypgPqOnrsFvnVoYKyPxadlZPDSE0 746QtV9vpTyr7GXbl7rfcFzNX3DU/62/kU0jAi3ysDrQn1mMZUh1mNyI4e0kpTwnAcdy e26Q== X-Google-DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=1e100.net; s=20161025; h=x-gm-message-state:mime-version:from:date:message-id:subject:to; bh=/9ufA8osO423eyAwZgxqTaF8Srl9F3UHBXhtpsyVEPM=; b=k1z/IGRjHbtTBxvfthd7c/PldA4zL2/3I03zvyhWISvRywzJiM+8bkJM3o0NbMGvpa Hb/bmIzjEOjaktWhD90gmheq8gvmSYk3dB/0Iw5OYDb5idR+cyIRPc/WQVlr3ibELZnB OgOm3DsuzUOmdaF2NR0dQ7co2Fv9Z6u4JjeqKrmubm4mhq36Lgwq8NllnbrEL5aSECSO ZYdT0qe7p0yBcqu8Vv5KnjxB5MTC8cwLu6vJgmFoWZvUbZgNdcYQS7oOw6LDe2i3uyys t/TN52ZjcrJ8wea6U9cfj5QaNRC/1/eAzp+ZRkmlLVyW3JmwcjRHQBbjEV/2MAF/XSzG VHHg== X-Gm-Message-State: AHYfb5ggwLnT/wQRWbGlBRfcii7GexjPjBTie7TuE32IwpoimqIFdsa7 PFVW6B+pPx+/hSzSKkKMYIxOUbSX5w== X-Received: by 10.55.41.39 with SMTP id p39mr7554262qkh.353.1502976713956; Thu, 17 Aug 2017 06:31:53 -0700 (PDT) MIME-Version: 1.0 From: Shunsuke Mie Date: Thu, 17 Aug 2017 13:31:43 +0000 Message-ID: Subject: Week 10 and 11: NVMe controller emulator To: "soc-status@freebsd.org" Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" X-Content-Filtered-By: Mailman/MimeDel 2.1.23 X-BeenThere: soc-status@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.23 Precedence: list List-Id: Summer of Code Status Reports and Discussion List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Thu, 17 Aug 2017 13:31:55 -0000 Hello all, In last week, I fixed some bugs at executing nvm read and write command. I tried to run with guest linux on bhyve with nvme controller emulator. however, in booting, the guest linux kernel occured timeout. I'm working for the problem and I'll fix until this weekend. Next week, I want to run the guest linux and read and write via my disk controller emulator. regards, Shunsuke Mie
