--=-=-= Content-Type: text/plain I'm curious how to properly configure a laptop with a synaptics touchpad. The wikipage suggests using moused and turning off X11 Synaptics driver. Is this still the proper setup? There is also a man page for the X11 synaptics driver so it seems like that is still supported? The reason I ask is that by using the wiki setup I'm having issues with palm detection. I've tweaked my settings a lot but I cannot get around stray mouse clicks cased by my palm while typing. I've even got settings to the point where it is almost difficult click intentionally but I still get stray clicks.
