When I first started using it, it was very fast. But now it is painfully slow. Most of that seems to be related to pkg. Hardware: i7-4770K, 32GB memory, spinning disk, UFS. Over time, it seems that poudriere spends more and more time in the *-depends stages. The main thing that seems to be running is pkg-static. It feels like pkg is constantly flushing changes to disk. There is also an issue with some packages in actually generating the actual pkg. Is there any magic setting that I missed? For historical reasons the system uses UFS instead of ZFS. I could rebuild the system with ZFS if that solves the problem. But I'd rather not. The README's make commands failed to build some if they were all missing at the time, although it tried. print/texinfo misc/help2man devel/p5-Locale-gettext devel/gettext-tools (much like devel/bison and devel/gmake and lang/perl5.24 were installed first in order for base/binutils to build). Normal poudriere-devel builds of these all went fine. /usr/ports/base/README still makes no mention of these 7 ports being needed, just mentioning (for an example *): pkg install *-xtoolchain-gcc (in 1/). Note: I've not done the pkg-plist step or actually installed what is built. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-pkg@freebsd.org Wed Feb 7 09:41:30 2018 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-pkg@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 206B9EEDF7E for ;
