Thanks for the input. With extended support for OpenJDK 6 having ended last December, I'd recommend having a discussion about updating the system with the interested stakeholders. I've just marked openjdk6 for expiration one month from now. If you need to, I'd suggest building a package for whichever FreeBSD version is relevant to you and backing that up somewhere.
