I was stress-testing the firewall and so far it s= eems tha above was just a one-off issue unrelated to load or Suricata. I continu= ed to see the same errors with very little to no load at all even with Suricata stopped. After a reboot the card seems stable (no errors) even when loading= it as much as I can (with the slow upstream cable connection I have). I think it probably might be safe to close off this issue. Or are they somewhat bogus > (with all the 0s in there)? Duh, it's all my fault: I forgot that I had the monitoring system not only check the port availability, but also connect and check the remote control socket (thus the minutely connection tries). The kernel syncache code calls syncache_respond just before syncache_insert. If the ACK to the syncache_respond is processed in another thread it may run before the syncache_insert and won't find the entry. Note that this affects only t4_tom because it's the only driver trying to insert and expand syncache entries from different threads. - Do not leak resources if an embryonic connection terminates at SYN_RCVD because of L2 lookup failures. - Retire lctx->synq and associated code because there is never a need to walk the list of embryonic connections associated with a listener. The per-tid state is still called a synq entry in the driver even though the synq itself is now gone. Add this to /etc/rc.conf: kld_list=3D"if_cxgbe" If you have a kld_list alredy, add if_cxgbe to the existing list. It is CURRENT, you can see revision for each dump in core.txt. I don't think this problem was fixed. I suspect the problem occurs when tun= (4) interfaces are going down. There are two sorts of panic, one is in nd6_dad_timer(), second is in route_output(). It seems in both cases ifnet pointer is already freed. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-net@freebsd.org Sat Mar 30 13:37:21 2019 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-net@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 1241E1550407 for ;
