Yeah -- the output doesn't merge common dependency subtrees, so if A depends on B depends on C and also A depends on D depends on C, then C will appear twice in the output. I see. I wonder if it would even be possible to merge common dependency subtrees in this form of ascii report.=20 However, if the script supported graphviz (.dot) output it would be perhaps feasible. The merging perhaps could even happen automatically within graphviz. Please look at the sample graphics I've prepared with graphviz: http://admin.sibptus.ru/~vas/t.png I did not do any special common dependency processing, graphviz merged the "expat" dependencies for me. Anyway, even in this form the utility could be useful to me, thank you for pointing it out to me. --=20 Victor Sudakov, VAS4-RIPE, VAS47-RIPN 2:5005/49@fidonet http://vas.tomsk.ru/ --IS0zKkzwUGydFO0o Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJcNIhrAAoJEA2k8lmbXsY0zvMH/0CUsUJ0kxzD3MaV/ka6nkIc vNCi9YFZiMYYJeWpZd5++5ZJBg8WKrUzHZ1wBkoibuHDsOtbWz8W+TkPOeyF/MuA oqwXdr2jbjKP1bT4pHi9IcOyavwadjnYegtdmxO5UUx7/Yxr+JXyhqZcLNFmkOb2 32freWN8B96dF4eFvw3GZmNVTUpzge4Ky6PcXC9crY6FCFSqd4txZHr0Nl4LoIht Oi/pykLRcB7y+NXzC2f/Jv/AyY9eyHq4IZxpZlanFedz7mEcvEeWZkfdP6BPfLu3 FhwEt9GgMkzDGv6yQlBIPvtuvEQu7VmjciPKUR0Ec2v1F3avfD11vvS4tCkV2I4= =Wtfn -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --IS0zKkzwUGydFO0o-- From owner-freebsd-pkg@freebsd.org Wed Jan 9 06:16:19 2019 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-pkg@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id D07901497FBA for ; Wed, 9 Jan 2019 06:16:19 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (mailman.ysv.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::50:5]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 6B0926F09D for ; Wed, 9 Jan 2019 06:16:19 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) id 2F4E31497FB2; Wed, 9 Jan 2019 06:16:19 +0000 (UTC) Delivered-To: pkg@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 1DEBA1497FB1 for ; Wed, 9 Jan 2019 06:16:19 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org (mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:3]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-digest SHA256) (Client CN "mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org", Issuer "Let's Encrypt Authority X3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id D301A6F099 for ; Wed, 9 Jan 2019 06:16:18 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::16:76]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 17AFACA9D for ; Wed, 9 Jan 2019 06:16:18 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.118]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id x096GHpq004245 for ; Wed, 9 Jan 2019 06:16:17 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: (from www@localhost) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id x096GHCA004238 for pkg@FreeBSD.org; Wed, 9 Jan 2019 06:16:17 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) X-Authentication-Warning: kenobi.freebsd.org: www set sender to bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org using -f From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: pkg@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 230770] ports-mgmt/pkg pkg rquery %M does not return messages Date: Wed, 09 Jan 2019 06:16:18 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Reason: AssignedTo X-Bugzilla-Type: changed X-Bugzilla-Watch-Reason: None X-Bugzilla-Product: Ports & Packages X-Bugzilla-Component: Individual Port(s) X-Bugzilla-Version: Latest X-Bugzilla-Keywords: X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Some People X-Bugzilla-Who: grahamperrin@gmail.com X-Bugzilla-Status: New X-Bugzilla-Resolution: X-Bugzilla-Priority: --- X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: pkg@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: maintainer-feedback?
