All the code is on our repo here [1], but has an old HEAD. We did a rebase last week but we did not tested [2]. Currently the code is not mergeable as bhyve does not have a structure of machine dependent/independent code and creating such a structure would take some time. We talked with John Baldwin at BSDCan to find a easiest way to merge arm/arm64. In the next months we hope we will find the suitable solution to get the code into current. Thank you, Mihai [1] https://github.com/FreeBSD-UPB/freebsd/commits/projects/bhyvearm64 [2] https://github.com/FreeBSD-UPB/freebsd/commits/projects/bhyvearm64-refactor On Mon, May 27, 2019 at 4:37 AM Shawn Webb wrote: > > Hey all, > > I'm trying to figure out the state of bhyve on arm64 in 13-current. For the CPUs that you have posted: - Overdrive, pine64, pinebook and rock64 don't support bhyvearm64, because they have an older version of the interrupt controller (GIC400 vs GIC500). - RPI3 doesn't support bhyvearm64, because it has a custom interrupt controller. - ThunderX2 will support bhyvearm64 in its current state, however the hypervisor won't take advantage of some important virtualization optimizations that the CPU implements. bhyvearm64 hasn't been tested on hardware, but Mihai is considering the espressobin platform for hardware bringup. In my case, replication might run fine for a while (hou= rs, days) but at some point there is a SCSI Status Error during a WRITE operati= on and PFSense/FreeBSD will become locked up or partially working but eventual= ly will not respond to network or UI requests. I would love a resolution to t= his. For the moment, I've disabled replication and it's been fine. Perhaps useful, perhaps not: I've been running PFSense for years as a replicating VM on Hyper-V W2K2012R2 without issues. It was just this week = when I started having problems. PFSense was previously running many different versions (2.2, 2.3, 2.4.3). When I started having problems this week I had= not upgraded PFSsense or the hypervisor. As far as I can tell "nothing changed= ".
