- fix thread id calculation as in the Linuxulator we should convert the user supplied thread id to struct thread * by linux_tdfind(= ); - fix CPUCLOCK_SCHED case by using kern_{process,thread}_cputime() directly as native get_cputime() used by kern_clock_gettime() uses native tdfind()/pfind() to find proccess/thread. Note that this is going to be enacted by removing the current emulators/qemu-user-static and repocopying qemu-user-static-devel over. qemu-user-static-devel itself is a repocopy of qemu-sbruno with the qemu-sy= stem bits removed. qemu-user-static doesn't have much interesting history attach= ed to it as a slave port of qemu-sbruno, so it feels more appropriate this way. In a separate commit, but in this same patch, we intend to deprecate qemu-sbruno. The system bits from our branch should match upstream pretty closely, and the versions should be converging going into the future as we'= ll continue to rebase user-static towards modern day qemu. I've tentatively put the date five months out, but I'm not convinced it matters if it's sooner or later -- there shouldn't really be many, if any, users of it. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org Wed Feb 5 16:48:04 2020 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-emulation@mailman.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 45F5924EAB7 for ; Wed, 5 Feb 2020 16:48:04 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (mailman.nyi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::50:13]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 48CSDN1BkKz3FwR for ; Wed, 5 Feb 2020 16:48:04 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) id 270FC24EAB6; Wed, 5 Feb 2020 16:48:04 +0000 (UTC) Delivered-To: emulation@mailman.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 26D8124EAB5 for ; Wed, 5 Feb 2020 16:48:04 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:3]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-digest SHA256) (Client CN "mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org", Issuer "Let's Encrypt Authority X3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 48CSDN0FzGz3FwQ for ; Wed, 5 Feb 2020 16:48:04 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::50:1d]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id F410A5A88 for ; Wed, 5 Feb 2020 16:48:03 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.5]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id 015Gm3p9009013 for ; Wed, 5 Feb 2020 16:48:03 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: (from www@localhost) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id 015Gm3mA009012 for emulation@FreeBSD.org; Wed, 5 Feb 2020 16:48:03 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) X-Authentication-Warning: kenobi.freebsd.org: www set sender to bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org using -f Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: emulation@FreeBSD.org Subject: maintainer-feedback requested: [Bug 243906] emulators/qemu-user-static: update to 3.1 (+ deprecate qemu-sbruno) Date: Wed, 05 Feb 2020 16:48:03 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Type: request X-Bugzilla-Product: Ports & Packages X-Bugzilla-Component: Individual Port(s) X-Bugzilla-Version: Latest X-Bugzilla-Keywords: X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Only Me X-Bugzilla-Who: X-Bugzilla-Status: New X-Bugzilla-Resolution: X-Bugzilla-Priority: --- X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: emulation@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: maintainer-feedback?
