I'm currently using an Adaptec 1200A on FreeBSD 5.3-STABLE #1: Fri Feb 4 02:43:22 GMT 2005 root@zoidberg.xxxxxxx.co.uk:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/ZOIDBERG and it works without any problems. I'm using it in RAID1 mode and it seems to be nice and fast. It's happy booting and running even with one of the pair removed, and is happy with rebuilding afterwards. Remember though that this card isn't true hardware RAID, but you're probably not going to find that within your price range. Gavin
