5.1-R btw. i just got this axi panther sparc net booted, and am getting network errors. Its plugged into a el cheap-o 8 port 10/100 switch. I get input err from netstat plus errors in dmesg when left at auto/auto. When forced its only give about 25 input errors then no more are logged via netstat. NFS server is plugged into same switch running 5.1 also only intel which is also forced to 100/Full (de nic btw) Jul 16 19:27:54 axi kernel: hme0: invalid packet size 5204; dropping Jul 16 19:27:54 axi kernel: hme0: invalid packet size 5204; dropping Jul 16 19:27:54 axi kernel: hme0: invalid packet size 5204; dropping Jul 16 19:27:54 axi kernel: hme0: invalid packet size 5204; dropping Jul 16 19:27:54 axi kernel: hme0: too may errors; not reporting any more Jul 16 08:32:05 nfs kernel: Jul 16 19:27:54 axi kernel: hme0: too may errors; no t reporting any more netstat -in hme0 1500 <Link#1> 08:00:20:a2:99:17 91169 24 88175 0 1489 I also noticed something strange. When forced to 100/Full i get this output. axi# ifconfig hme0 media 100baseTX mediaopt full-duplex atalk 0.0 range 0-0 phase 2 however ifconfig hme0 shows media: Ethernet 100baseTX <full-duplex> :/ found this in all.log on the nfs server (*.* @nfs in syslog.conf on axi) Jul 16 19:12:13 axi kernel: atalk 2813.254 range 2813-2813 phase 2 I also see Jul 16 20:03:15 axi kernel: nfs server 10.253.254.7:/usr/sparc/: not responding Jul 16 20:03:16 axi kernel: Jul 16 20:03:15 axi kernel: nfs server 10.253.254.7:/usr/sparc/: not responding full dmesg shown bellow.
