I've already had a number of unpleasant shocks, but so far nothing has been more than unpleasant. Interestingly, there was a small amount of leakage even when both systems were turned off and I touched both the case of the Comparex D1400 (Hitachi DF400) and a grounding pin on the same power strip that the drive array is plugged into, which I have to assume comes from the internal batteries in the array. If we're talking about fatal to the equipment, that's a much more serious issue. ;-) -- These are my opinions -- not to be taken as official Skynet policy ====================================================================== Brad Knowles, <blk@skynet.be> || Belgacom Skynet SA/NV Systems Architect, Mail/News/FTP/Proxy Admin || Rue Colonel Bourg, 124 Phone/Fax: +32-2-706.13.11/12.49 || B-1140 Brussels http://www.skynet.be || Belgium To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
