FreeBSD delta 10.0-RC4 FreeBSD 10.0-RC4 #0 r260130: Tue Dec 31 17:10:01 UTC 2013 root@snap.freebsd.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/4ERIC amd6
>Description:
Installed FreeBSD 10.0-RC4. The installation was fine no issues. Upon installation, updated ports by first installing subversion and then performing commands:
   svn checkout https://svn0.us-east.FreeBSD/ports/head /usr/ports
   svn update /usr/ports

installed x11/xorg with default options using make config-recursive
         then make install clean
configured X environment per handbook. All worked fine

installed math/gnumeric with default options using make config-recursive
         then make install clean

logged in to non-privileged user account

   performed startx

from default window manager xterm executed gnumeric&

once application window was active, attempted to open a file using the file open icon. At this point gnumeric dumped core.
>How-To-Repeat:
start the gnumeric application and attempt to open a file using the file open icon.
