            Bug ID: 197552
Summary: sysutils/fsc: Creates a circular rcorder dependency.
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Many People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: trhodes@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: parakleta@darkreality.org
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(trhodes@FreeBSD.org)

The rc.d/fscd requires DAEMON before NETWORKING which creates a circular
dependency and breaks system boot.

pkgsrc resolved this issue in version 1.1 in late 2012 by removing the
NETWORKING before dependency.

It's a little bit sad that the NetBSD port of the 'FreeBSD Service Check
Daemon' works better than the FreeBSD port. How much longer until FreeBSD
gives up on its own ports system and gets behind one that works?
