That's strange. I thought you were one
of the "initiated." At least that's what
you stated in your reply to my browser
post.

Hm, let's see...

[snip a lot of junk]

ADVISORY RECORD LOCKING, DOOFUS.

Hah.

Did it occur to you that Unix doesn't
differentiate between text and binary
files? Everything is binary. Hello?

Maybe you should follow your own
advice and go back to Windows/MSDOS where
the 'b' to fopen() and the 'O_TEXT'
to open() actually mean something.

Wow. This college course is really
paying off. Maybe one day I'll be
able to write a web browser that
actually works on Unix, unlike the
other morons who can't write a
browser that doesn't segfault within
20 minutes tops or pull down X
and every window manager on the
planet with it. Fucking geezers.

Yes, now how do you intend to use the www
when every browser is a piece of shit?
I wouldn't doubt that Netscape would work
for "---Andy" while she uses it for five
minutes each day rummaging through the
text-only stock quotes for some suburbian
shithole in Arkansas. Or perhaps she
considers restarting a browser every
5 minutes decent performance.
