2.2.7-RELEASE

ppp aliased IP addresses = 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.0.12

BSD1  ->  BSD2  ->  Internet
      (ppp -alias)
      (192.168.0.0)

BSD1 machine can:

ping       192.168.0.0
telnet     192.168.0.0
ftp        192.168.0.0
traceroute 192.168.0.0

BSD1 machine CAN'T

nslookup 192.168.0.0
lynx     192.168.0.0

why?

also, how should BSD1 machine be setup so
that mail doesn't bounce when remote machines
try to verify senders address (such as FreeBSD's majordomo) ?
i apologize for the subscription request sent to questions :(
